Wednesday, April 23

ELL – Conversation Circle: For senior citizens and adults. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This event is designed for English language learners who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics and activities – including introducing oneself, sharing interests, and exploring traditions. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

First Chapter Club for Kids: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The First Chapter Club for Kids is a way to learn about a variety of books and books series. Participants may have a snack and get a sneak peak into a new book each month. After reading the first chapter (sometimes more), the class will play games or do a craft related to the book. This month the class will be reading “Dragonbreath” by Ursula Vernon. The library will provide the books. Participants do not need to read the book prior to attending the class. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Pride Time – DIY Seed Bombs: For teens. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Spring is here and this month the class is making wildflower seed bombs. This event is for LGBTQ+ teens and allies. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Monday, April 28

Small Wonders Yoga: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. This yoga class is designed for preschool aged children. It will incorporate child-friendly yoga poses with stories/books, music, breathing exercises, and games. Children are encouraged to try the poses on their own, building self-confidence and body awareness. Classes are active and fun for all. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Book Discussion: For senior citizens and adults. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join this event to discuss “The Nickel Boys” by Colson Whitehead, which was recently adapted into an Academy Award nominated film. Registration is not required and new members are welcome.

Teen Anime Club: Ages 13 to 17 years. 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Teen residents are invited to join the Evesham Library’s Anime Club. This month the class will be watching “One Piece.” Light refreshments will be available.
