Toddler Time: Ages 18 to 36 months. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited for stories, movement, and activities designed for toddlers on the go. This class will focus on building early literacy skills through naming colors, counting, letter recognition, etc. in a fun and interactive environment. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the class with toddler. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Intro to Udemy: Ages 18 years and up. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Udemy is a vast catalog of video instruction courses covering a variety of topics, with especially extensive offerings on professional development and technology. Classes range from brief overviews to get started to multi-unit courses with hours and hours of video and downloadable materials and certificates. Intro to Udemy will teach participants how to set up their own account, search and browse for classes, track their progress, and make the most of this library-provided resource. Required skills for this class: Computer basics – mouse and keyboard. Participants will need an active email address. It is also recommended to bring a pair of headphones or earbuds to listen to Udemy courses. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Preschool Story Time: Ages 3 to 6 years. 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library’s staff for stories, activities, and a craft. This class will focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Zendoodle Time: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with little stress. Participants may bring music to listen to. Stay and Play: Ages 6 years and under. 10 a.m. To 11:30 p.m. Drop in for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Enjoy some books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Duplos, crafts, and more. Stay and Play will end with a mini-dance time and bubbles. No registration required.
Cozy Crochet Club: Ages 12 to 17 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters or start a new project from the library’s pattern selection. Beginners are welcome and can learn basic stitches to get started on a project. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Teen Anime Club: Ages 13 to 17 years. 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Welcome to Evesham Library’s Anime Club. Anime is to be determined. Light refreshments will be available for participants. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
