Wednesday, March 5

Adult Yarn Social: For seniors and adults. 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to come join other knitting and crochet fans for some relaxed, social yarn time. No registration required.

Thursday, March 6

Marlton Senior Club: Adult Seniors 55 and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center (535 E. Main St.). All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. The meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month. Participants enjoy coffee, donuts and regularly scheduled games and other entertainment. No registration required.

Pride Time – Learn to Crochet: For LGBTQ+ teens and allies. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Special guest Lettice of Evesham’s Cozy Crochet program will join this class for Pride Time to teach participants the basics of crochet. Attendees may learn a new skill, or brush up on one they already know, with friends. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Saturday, March 8

Kids Coding Class (Bring Your Own Device): Ages 7 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Additional spots are available to join the Marlton Kids Tech Club to learn about technology.  Make friends while learning how to code and more.  No experience required. Participants must bring their own computer or device that can run MIT Scratch. The Burlington County Library System lends Chromebooks and Samsung Galaxy tablets. Both devices work with MIT Scratch. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Monday, March 10

Small Wonders Yoga: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. This yoga class is designed for preschool aged children. It will incorporate child-friendly yoga poses with stories/books, music, breathing exercises, and games. Children are encouraged to try the poses on their own, building self-confidence and body awareness. Classes are active and fun for all. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Stories and STEM: Ages 5 to 8 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited listen to a great book then try a STEM challenge designed after the story. This month’s challenge is based off the book “The Love Letter” by Anika Aldamuy Denise.
