Start with Art: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a variety of winter-themed art stations for kids to get creative. Participants should dress for the mess. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Say ‘No’ to New year’s Resolutions: For emerging adults. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. As an alternative to lists of what people like to improve upon or goals they’d like to set­, this class invited residents to get together and discuss thinkers such as Kristin Neff and Brené Brown, as well as others who focus on self-compassion. This resource share session will be conducted in a workshop format; ideas will be presented and time for active discussion will be provided. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Friday, Jan. 3

Baby Time: Ages up to 18 months. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a fun-filled interactive event, which includes stories, rhymes, movement, and more. This class focuses on baby’s early language and literacy understanding through stories and repetitive rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in this bonding experience. Baby Time is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

All residents. 7 p.m. at the Evesham Township Municipal Building. The yearly reorganization meeting of the Evesham Township Council. No registration is required.

Saturday, Jan. 4

Financial Literacy – Driver Finance: For seniors and emerging adults. 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Buying a new vehicle is a large commitment, but it doesn’t have to be stressful. Odette Miller, B.A., from Financial Remedy Associates, LLC. is running this workshop to help residents prepare for their big purchase. This workshop is designed to give participants the tools for making an informed purchase when buying a vehicle. It will cover how to negotiate a price, how to set a budget, information on loan pre-approval and more. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Monday, Jan. 6

Music Together: Ages 18 months and under. 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Young children learn through play and experimentation and by watching and listening to the adults they love. Setting an example as an enthusiastic participator in music activities is the best thing any parent, grandparent, or caregiver can do to help set a child on the road to a lifelong love of music. Adults don’t need to have music skills, they just need a desire to play and have fun with their children. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
