ELL: Conversation Circle: Seniors and adults. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The library is hosting an event designed for English language learners who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics and activities – including introducing oneself, sharing interests, exploring traditions, and more. Marlton Senior Club:Â Adult Seniors 55 and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center (535 E. Main St.). All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. The meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month. Participants enjoy coffee, donuts and regularly scheduled games and other entertainment. No registration required.
Are you game? Game Night at Zed’s: Ages 21 and up. 6 to 8 p.m. at Zed’s Beer located at 19 North Maple Ave. Residents are invited to come out to Zed’s Beer to enjoy a selection of games and brews. The event will have a mix of classics, as well as strategy games such as Azul, Everdell, and Tsuro, among others. Residents are encouraged to bring friends. Baby Time: Ages 0 to 18 months. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a fun-filled interactive event, which includes stories, rhymes, movement, and more. This event will focus on baby’s early language and literacy understanding through stories and repetitive rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in this bonding experience. Trunk or Treat: All ages. 6 to 8 p.m. at at Savich Field, 535 E. Main Street. Decorated cars with goodies galore await little ones for a safe trick-or-treating experience. Kids can enjoy candy, treats and more as they fill their bags with a variety of sweets and surprises. Everyone can also enjoy dancing to the rhythm of Halloween beats and enjoy lively entertainment for all ages. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will also be given to the best decorated trunks. Cozy Crochet Club: Ages 12 to 17 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters or start a new project from our pattern selection. Participants are allowed to use the library’s yarn stash. Beginners are welcome and can learn basic stitches to get started on a project. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
