Evesham Township held their annual LGBTQ+ Pride Month Celebration and flag-raising ceremony at the Gibson House Community Center on June 3, the sixth year for the event.

As in years past, the celebration and flag-raising provided an opportunity for the municipality to speak against prejudices or bigotry and against anyone based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. The township continues to ensure that it remains a safe, loving community where members of the LGBTQ+ community can feel secure in living as their open, true selves.

In attendance at theevent to show their support were Mayor Jackie Veasy, Deputy Mayor and Councilwoman Dr. Krystal Hunter, Councilwoman Heather Cooper, Councilman Joe Fisicaro, Jr. and Councilman Christian Smith.
