Clearview high-schoolers join regional band

Fifteen Clearview High School band students were recently selected to participate in the South Jersey Region Honors Bands and Orchestras.

The students auditioned for their positions on Dec. 13 at Absegami High School in Galloway.

Those chosen are Lydia Biermann, grade 9, oboe; Nick Nuss, grade 10, clarinet; Max Caldes, grade 10, clarinet; Chinmay Kulkarni, grade 9, alto clarinet; MaKayla Hubbs, grade 10, bass clarinet; Danny Pastor, grade 10, tenor sax; Jake Langley, grade 12, tenor sax; Logan Kline, grade 11, trumpet; Logan Kenkelen, grade 11, horn; Cole Beckman, grade 11, trombone and bass trombone; Jared Wax, grade 11, euphonium; Chase Roberts, grade 11, tuba; Ben Milas, grade 11, battery percussion; Isaac Neal, grade 11, mallets; and Annabella Diaz, grade 12, timpani.

The South Jersey Region Honors Bands and Orchestras’ participants will be at Rowan University over the first two weekends in January to rehearse and perform with guest conductors and other students in the region.
