Tuesday, March 4

Pancake Day: 5 to 7 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, 20 Kings Highway East. The church is celebrating Shrove Tuesday/Fat Tuesday/Pancake Day. Hosted by the Youth and Christian Education Committee at the church. Bid on silent auctions. Baskets include Eagles merchandise and a house rental in Maine for the summer. Tickets are $10 for ages 5 to 11, $15 for ages 12 and up, and free for children under 5 when accompanied by a paying adult. Contact (856) 429-1960 with any questions. Tuesday, March 11

Garden Club meeting 6:30 p.m. Grace Episcopal Church, 19 Kings Highway. Lifelong gardener Ed Pierzynski will present “Pollinator Gardens, Planning, Designing and Plant Selection.” He is the Haddon Township Community Gardens chairperson and one of the founding members of the South Jersey unit of the Herb Society of America. Pierzynski cans, preserves and prepares food from his garden throughout the year. Guests are welcome. Admission is free. Refreshments will be available.

Saturday, March 15

Spring luncheon 11:30 a.m. Tavistock Country Club. The theme of this annual event, hosted by The evening membership department of The Haddon Fortnightly, is An Irish Spring. Entertainment includes the Jordan-Hunt School of Irish Dance and the Paul VI High School Jazz Ensemble. There will be a 50/50 raffle, trivia and gift baskets for auction.
