School stages version of ‘Clue’

Haddonfield Memorial High School Drama Club will present “Clue: High School Edition,” a comedic mystery based on the popular board game and adapted from the film this month.

Set in a remote mansion, the story begins when six eccentric guests arrive for what they think is a dinner party, only to discover that their enigmatic host, Mr. Boddy, has been murdered. Trapped in the house during a storm, the group – each with a secret to hide – must solve the mystery.

Performances are Thursday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m., and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26. Tickets are $15 and $12 for students and seniors. They can be purchased via a link on the drama club website, hmhsdrama.com. 

Seniors can attend a free preview performance on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. All performances are in the school’s auditorium. Be advised that the show utilizes prop weapons, including revolvers and gunshot sound effects.
