“So proud and thrilled to announce that Bea Gustafson is being inducted into the New Jersey Drum Corps Hall of Fame – Class of 2026. Bea was one of my first Soprano Horn Rookies in The Belle’s of St. Mary’s, Carol Ann Schaffer Fallon said. “I remember her mother and family well. Bea went on to become a baritone soloist for the Bon-Bons.
“Later in life we raised our children together in the Archer Epler Junior Corps. Bea married her childhood sweetheart Robert Gus Gustafson and went on to march in the Yankee Rebels Alumni Corps. She was a great supporter of the Rebels and was inducted into the Maryland Hall of Fame, Fallon said. “For many years she was a part of Bon Bon’s Chorus. Her NJDCHOF induction is long overdue.”

He completed the program by presenting his research. We’re really proud of you!”
BROOKLAWN POLICE DONATE SUPPLIES
The Brooklawn Police Community Foundation was proud to donate approximately $500 in school supplies to Alice Costello Elementary School last week to help support students and classrooms as they prepare for the new school year.
“Members of the Brooklawn Police Department joined school leadership to deliver the supplies and celebrate another opportunity to support the community we serve,” BPD officers said. “The Foundation was created to support charitable, educational, and community-focused initiatives throughout Brooklawn, and we look forward to continuing that mission in the year ahead.

The Gloucester City Police Department (GCPD) stated that “NJ Crisis Services: Who Should I Call?” has been developed by the DHS, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) to provide a simple, visual message about the easy-to-remember, 3-digit number that anyone can call.
“988 is an easy to remember number to call in a mental health crisis or when looking for help with addiction and substance abuse outside of an emergency,” the GCPD stated, and it is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
