The Indian Mills Volunteer Fire Company – along with surrounding fire departments – took part in a large-scale water shuttle drill on April 5. The practice allows members to supply a sufficient volume of water for firefighting in areas without fire hydrants, or in situations where a hydrant can’t keep up with the water demand.
