Retired Washington Township Police K-9 Lync recently passed away. Lync was more than just a police dog, he was a true partner, a protector and part of the police family. He was born in Slovakia in 2011 and joined the department in 2012, when he was paired with his handler, Sgt. Kris Hice. The two trained side by side at the John “Sonny” Burke K-9 Academy and went on to serve the township with loyalty and strength.
