The Tabernacle Fire Department responded to a recent tractor fire on a local farm with assistance from the state Forest Fire Service. The department’s 1993 Engine 4311, which followed closely behind Engine 4312, provided an additional 1,000 gallons of water. Officials were able to contain the fire to prevent it from further igniting an external fuel trailer nearby.
