Township seeks members for new Municipal Alliance Group

Medford Township is seeking members for its newly formed Municipal Alliance Group. The group will advise the Township Council on matters related to funds allocated to the township through the federal opioid settlement agreement and drug and alcohol addiction programs. The township is looking for three Medford residents to volunteer for a one-year term starting January 2025. Applications are due Jan. 8 and can be found on the Boards and Commissions page for the application at https://medfordtownship.com.

Township announces Thanksgiving food drive

Cherry Hill Township is encouraging residents to give back this holiday season through its annual Thanksgiving food drive, with donations accepted now through Nov. 23. Community members can drop off food donations at several township locations, including the Cherry Hill Municipal Building, 820 Mercer St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Croft Farm, 100 Bortons Mill Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Cherry Hill Public Library, 1100 Kings Highway, will also accept donations Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Additional donation locations include the Cherry Hill Food Pantry, 910 Beechwood Ave., and Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey. Residents interested in donating at these locations should call ahead for drop-off availability.
