Township officer Kevin Doherty stopped a moving vehicle with a flat tire at Ganttown Road on Feb. 17 and helped a stranded resident change her tire. The woman in turn wrote a heartfelt letter to Police Chief Patrick Gurcsik and brought in baked goods for Doherty and his platoon.
