The Monroe police department took part in the St. Mary School Race for Education Day last month, when administrators volunteered Police Chief Ryan Borkowski – without consulting him first – and St. Mary principal and staffers to take a pie in the face if the school reached its fundraising goal. It did, so Borkowski (center), principal Patricia Mancuso, Fr. Sanjai Devis and staffers each took a hit.
