After 49 years of service, Lt. Jim Connor has completed his final duty shift with the Washington Township Fire Department. Over nearly five decades, Connor, a second-generation firefighter, responded to emergencies, mentored generations of firefighters and exemplified what it means to be a volunteer firefighter with his “service, dedication and compassion.”
