County Highway Safety Taskforce announces high school video contest

The Gloucester County Highway Safety Taskforce announces its 19th annual High School Video Contest. Students will have a choice of five topics this year:

1. Driving Under the Influence

2. Distracted Driving

3. Pedestrian Safety

4. Bicycle Safety

5. Motorcycle Safety

Students may team up to produce a 30 second video depicting the dangers of the selected topic(s). Prizes will be awarded to the top videos, and there will be a video premier/ceremony at a local movie theater to showcase the videos. The contest is open to any high school and middle school student residing in Gloucester County.

Each team will submit a video that they have postmarked by March 1. Any entries postmarked after the March 1 deadline will not be considered. Videos should be sent to: Gloucester County Highway Safety Taskforce, ATTN: Lieutenant Nicholas Schock, P.O. Box 623, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
