The Cinnaminson fire department celebrated the retirement of long-time Deputy Chief Ira Schonfeld (holding plaque) on Dec. 30 at Station 201. Schonfeld got his start in the fire service in 1976 and joined the township department in 1986. He served in the following line-officer positions from 1990 on: lieutenant, 1990-1991; captain, 1991-1993; station chief, 1994; department chief, 1997-1999; and deputy chief, 2000-2025.
