Township’s deputy mayor dies at 68

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deptford Deputy Mayor Thomas M. Hufnell on Dec. 12. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his friends and family, at 68 years old.

Tommy proudly served the residents of Deptford Township as a councilman for 21 years and as deputy mayor for the past 14 years. His unwavering dedication and leadership have significantly shaped our community, and he will be greatly missed by his Deptford family.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding and support as we honor the legacy of Deputy Mayor Hufnell.
