A guide to county food resources

Gloucester County remains committed to feeding the needy as it navigates the ongoing government shutdown and threat to SNAP benefits.

The county provides monthly SNAP benefits to 7,700 children, 6,450 individuals with disabilities and 3,500 seniors.

County resources include:

  • The Food Bank of South Jersey works with more than 300 partners across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties. Residents can type their zip codes into a map and find a food distribution site near their homes.
  • A county directory lists faith-based pantries in the county, including location, hours and contact information. Sites are in alphabetical order by municipality.
  • Gloucester County Social Services is located at 400 Hollydell Drive in Sewell. Call (856) 582-9200 or (856) 582-2337 for help.
  • New Jersey SNAP at the state Department of Human Services, 222 South Warren St. in Trenton.
