The Deptford fire department recently responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Good Intent Road and Schaeffer Avenue that left one car between a retaining wall and a tree, trapping an individual inside. A township rescue unit used struts to stabilize the vehicle, as well as spreaders and cutters to remove a door and make their way to the trapped person, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The other two drivers walked away with minor injuries. The accident is under investigation by Deptford police.
