Deptford firefighters with engines 1312 and 946 battled a dwelling fire in the Oak Valley neighborhood on Oct. 25. The firefighters was ordered to lay in from a hydrant at the corner of Stanford and Hamilton, and led off with blitz fire and hand lines. The fire was extinguished quickly and no injuries were reported. It is under investigation by township fire department marshals.
