Tara Webb was arrested on May 12 in the theft of $50,000 from the township’s Shady Lane School and the Pine Acres Early Childhood Center in Wenonah, according to police. She was formally charged with theft of moveable property – a breach of her duty as a fiduciary for the PTOs – and was taken to Salem County Jail in Woodstown, where she remains.

An investigation into the case is ongoing. Anyone with further information is asked to contact Det. Maureen Packer at (856) 845-2220 or email mpacker@deptford-nj.org.
