Thursday Feb. 13: The 6 Triple Eight Battalion presentation at the Deptford Library at 6 p.m. Now a major motion picture, the story of the women of the 6 triple eight battalion is the story of the only Women’s Army Corps unit composed of all women of color during WWII. Presented by a passionate researcher who spoke to the women themselves, and who proudly served her country herself.
Monday Feb. 17: President’s Day. Municipal offices closed.
