The South Jersey Museum of American History is located at 138 Andaloro Way. The museum’s permanent exhibits include artifacts from the Pre-Columbian through the Colonial Eras, American Farmstead, Antique hand tools and equipment, the Pine Barrens, Glass and a Fossil exhibit.

The museum is offering Student Archaeology classes through July on Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students will unravel the myth of what an archaeologist does in the field by taking part in an actual excavation on the grounds of the Andaloro Farmhouse.

“Led by Love” Family Caregiver Support Group meetings are held monthly throughout the year from 9 a.m. to noon at 115 Budd Blvd., West Deptford. Dates include Sept. 17, Oct. 15, and Nov. 19.

Serve-A-Tray program, which is for seniors 60 or older, is more than just a meal delivery – it’s about maintaining health, independence, and dignity for homebound seniors in the community. Participants receive a complete midday meal Monday through Friday, with frozen meals available for weekends. For more information call (856) 686-8325.

Gloucester County Senior Nutrition Sites offer well-balanced midday meals for residents 60 plus at Second Baptist Church, Paulsboro; First Baptist Church of Jericho, Deptford; Greenfields Volunteer Fire Company, Deptford; Pfeiffer Community, Williamstown; Glassboro Senior Center, Glassboro; and Mantua Township Community Center, Sewell. Blood Drives

The American Red Cross urges all donors to give blood or platelets now to keep the blood supply strong this summer. Type O blood products are most needed on hospital shelves – especially in the face of summer challenges that can quickly cause blood and platelet reserves to drop.
