Lewis will portray Ned Hector, who served in the Continental Army’s artillery unit as a bombardier who drove wagons of ammunition and supplies. Becton will portray the life and times of Jack Sisson, an enslaved African American who gained his freedom by enlisting in the Continental Army.

The church and the Gloucester County Historical Society are collaborating on the event, sponsored by the city of Woodbury, the Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the New Jersey Historical Commission.

Bethlehem Baptist Church is at 414 Mantua Pike in Woodbury.
