Deptford council, the township parks and recreation department and the Oak Valley Athletic Association hosted a family movie night at the association’s baseball field on Aug. 1. About 100 residents showed up with chairs and blankets for a free showing of “The Wild Robot.” The township also provided barbecue food and lawn games. The next family movie night will be indoors at the township theater, next to the community center, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
