The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month to discuss true crime stories and podcasts. January’s podcast selection is the first season of “Up and Vanished.” That show and season – hosted by documentary director Payne Lindsey – will investigate the 2005 cold case disappearance of Tara Grinstead, a beloved Georgia beauty queen and high-school teacher.

Spoilers will be discussed at the meeting.

“Listen to the selected episodes, and come for a discussion of the crime, the motivation, the investigation, all the juicy details,” said library event host Michelle Burns.
