Official: Delran election results

Voters in Delran Township either went to the polls early on Election Day, Nov. 4, or mailed in votes to elect members for school board.

Seven candidates vied for three, three-year term seats.

There were 16,687 votes cast. Newcomer Nicole Flaherty received the most votes with 3,894, followed by newcomer Chris Calla with 3,836 and incumbent Michael Mongon with 2,111 for the three seats.

Candidate Nancy Evans got 2,165 votes, Patricia Griffith got 1,944, incumbent Mark Chierici received 1,850 and Bill Spych Jr. received 1,494 in their losing bids for the seats.

There were 56 write-in votes.
