State Sen. Troy Singleton and the Burlington County Commissioners are giving away 600 new winter coats on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to noon at the county Emergency Services Building in Westampton.

The senator and commissioners are partnering to distribute the coats with the Newark-based nonprofit Parents Engaging Parents. Children must be present to receive one and supplies are limited. “Thanks to our collective efforts and community-based partnerships, hundreds of children will have a new winter coat,” Singleton said. “It is vitally important that we do all that we can to ensure that children in Burlington County have the tools they need to succeed and thrive, and that includes having a coat that will keep them warm on their way to school.”
