Residents from across the county and region are invited to visit the Burlington County Agricultural Center in Moorestown to shop for their favorite early season produce, foods and crafts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Among the vendors expected this Saturday are Black Sheep Farm, Pinelands Produce, Stephen Specca Farms and Lani’s Farm. They’ll be selling cold weather vegetables and other early season and greenhouse crops.

Shoppers will also find farm fresh beef, pork, lamb and seafood, local honey, eggs, microgreens, cheeses, breads, baked goods, nut butters, pastas, pickles, pierogis, sauces, jams, granolas, craft beers, spirits, coffees, teas and more.

There will be a cooking demonstration at 10 a.m. and live music throughout the day.

In addition to this Saturday, the market will have its other preseason days on March 28, April 11 and April 25.

The market’s regular season of weekly Saturday markets will kick off on May 9 with the traditional Opening Day and Spring Garden Market from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Traditionally, one of the biggest market days of the year, this year’s Opening Day will also feature a special celebration marking the start of the farmers market’s 20th season.

Subsequent farmers markets will be held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine through November 14. There will also be several special theme days throughout the year and the annual holiday market in December.
