Blood Center

Saturday: 7:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Donating blood in March is part of Red Cross Month, a national campaign that encourages people to deliver support when help can’t wait by also making a financial donation, volunteering or taking a lifesaving skills class. Types O, A negative and B negative blood donors are especially needed now.

Red Cross offers free A1C testing as 1 in 5 donors have levels in prediabetic or diabetic range. Successful donations will receive free testing in March and a $15 Amazon gift card by email for coming to give through March 31

If you’re unable to give blood or platelets, consider making a financial donation to support the organization’s lifesaving mission at redcross.org.

The Township Committee and State Sen. Troy Singleton are hosting a MVC Mobile Unit event at the Cinnaminson Community Center at 1621 Riverton Road from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Appointments can be made online at https://telegov.njportal.com/njmvmobileunit/.

Riverfront Seniors

Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone. Cinnaminson High School is installing a Military Honor Wall to commemorate the dedication and service of its graduates who have served in the United States Armed Forces. For more information or to submit alumni for inclusion on the wall visit www.cinnaminson.com

New Jersey American Water will perform the annual flushing of its water distribution system to continue to provide customers with high-quality, reliable water service. This will run into the fall months.
