A second public meeting is planned at the Palmyra Community Center on Thursday, Nov. 13 to focus on River LINE service reliability, accountability, communication and safety. The session will be hosted by state Sen. Troy Singleton, with NJ Transit President and CEO Kris Kolluri in attendance. It follows NJ Transit’s transition to assume all responsibility for the operation of the light rail system from Alstom – a multi-national rail transport manufacturer – by the end of the year. Cinnaminson police and fire departments are hosting Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 7 at The Merion, 1301 Route 130. Ticket sales are from 7 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Cinnaminson Fire Department.
Riverfront Seniors
Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone. The Cinnaminson Fire Department will hold its Paint the Town Pink Car Cruise from 5 p.m. to dusk on the fourth Sunday of every month through September at Brewery 33, 601 Lippincott Ave., Riverton.
Cinnaminson High School Class of 1986 is having its 40th High School Reunion scheduled for Feb. 28, 2026 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Carlucci’s Waterfront Grill located at 876 Centerton Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. The venue is limited to a 120 Person Room Capacity and tickets are going fast. Be sure to act soon to reserve your place. The cost per ticket is $125 per person and includes the following: Three Hour Open Premium Bar, Three Course Sit Down Meal: Salad/Soup, Choice of Entrée, and Dessert, Sales Tax/Gratuities.
