Blood Drive

The American Red Cross urges donors to make an appointment to give lifesaving blood or platelets in the new year to help keep the blood supply strong this winter. Type O negative blood donors and those giving platelets are especially urged to give now to keep critical blood products on the shelves for patients in need.

Riverfront Seniors

Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone.
