The Burlington County Farmers Market has made the top five in the national USA Today 10BEST Readers Poll.
It finished No. 4 in the final voting tally in a competition against 19 other markets from across the country. The top vote recipient was the Soda City Market in Columbia, South Carolina.
The annual 10BEST Readers Poll is organized by USA Today and awards the best food outlets in the U.S. in eight categories. Twenty finalists were selected by an expert panel and the winners were determined by an online poll, with daily voting from mid-March to April 14.
This year marks the first time the county farmers market competed as a finalist in the online poll. It was voted the No. 1 farmers market in New Jersey and the third best in the Northeast last year, in the 2024 America’s Farmers Market Celebration poll from the American Farmland Trust.
