Burlington County announces temporary closure of Evesham bridge

The Tomlinson Mill Road Bridge over the Barton Run will be closed for approximately two weeks to undergo repairs.

The Burlington County Engineer’s Office announced the closure would begin Dec. 23 and is expected to remain in place for two weeks barring any unforeseen circumstances. During repairs, Tomlinson Mill Road will be closed between Taunton Lake Road and Kettle Run Road to all thru traffic. Local traffic will be permitted to enter the closure area to access properties but will not be permitted to cross the bridge.

The detour route will use Marlton Parkway, Route 73 and Braddock Mill Road. The route was distributed to the municipality, local schools and first responders.
