Burlington County announces start of resurfacing work on North Pemberton Road, Ong’s Hat Road

Work is scheduled to begin on repaving portions of North Pemberton Road in Southampton and Ong’s Hat Road in Southampton and Pemberton Township.

Pavement milling and overlay work will begin on Friday, June 13, on a 0.4-mile section of North Pemberton Road, also known as County Route 616, from Pemberton Road to Route 206. The work is expected to take about a week to complete.

Separately, work will begin on Monday, June 16, to repave 3.1-miles of Ong’s Hat Road, also known as County Route 642, from Burrs Mill Road in Southampton to Route 644 in Pemberton Township. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete.

Traffic will be maintained through the work areas on both highways, but motorists using the roads will likely experience delays and are advised to seek alternative routes.
