Women’s Gathering

The Women’s Gathering is a local women’s group with 100-plus members. They have monthly meetings encompassing women’s personal growth and service to the community. A special February meeting is open to the public about women’s heart health. The meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 15 at the Cinnaminson Community Center. Dr. Christine Martino, a dedicated board-certified family medicine physician, at Jefferson Northeast in Pennsylvania will be the speaker at the meeting.

Honk! JR.

As part of the Westfield Friends School’s program, fifth to eighth-grade students are busy rehearsing and preparing the stage for this heartwarming production of Honk Jr. With a score by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins), Honk! JR. is a heartwarming celebration of being different and is for audiences of all ages. The musical fits well with the school’s mission, focus on project-based learning, and dedication to the arts.

Riverfront Seniors

Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone.
