The Cherry Hill Environmental Board is inviting volunteers to make a difference for township open-space lands on Saturday, Sept. 28.

National Public Lands Day is a hands-on volunteer effort and an opportunity for attendees to help improve township trails, control trail erosion and pick up trash. The township will provide volunteers with tools and yard waste bags.

Interested individuals should register online and meet at 9 a.m. at Croft Farm’s large red barn on Bortons Mill Road, where they will pick up tools and learn their assignments.
