Join us as we plant roots for the future! On April 26 and May 2 (Rain Date: May 23), the Cherry Hill Environmental Board (CHEB), dedicated volunteers, and the Department of Public Works will team up to plant trees in open spaces throughout town, strengthening and beautifying our community’s green spaces. Volunteers should dress for outdoor work and bring a pointed shovel to assist with planting. If you have a wheelbarrow and can transport it, please bring it along. Recommended volunteer age is 12+. The Delran police department is participating in New Jersey's Click It or Ticket mobilization through May 31. The mobilization began on May 18, coinciding with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's national campaign. Seat belts are the single most effective tool drivers and passengers can use to protect themselves in a crash. This campaign aims to increase seat belt compliance and encourages all occupants to reduce risk of injury or death by buckling up.
