Samaritan hosts Tree of Life event

Event returns to an in-person ceremony, remembering and honoring loved ones this holiday season

Samaritan will host its annual Tree of Life: Season of Light illumination program at its headquarters in Mount Laurel on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m.

The ceremony is making its return this year to an in-person, outdoor event. It is open to the public and will feature inspirational readings and music, followed by refreshments and fellowship. As part of the ceremony, guests will be invited to dedicate a symbolic light in memory of someone who has died or to honor someone special in their lives.

All proceeds raised will benefit the more than 11,000 Samaritan patients, clients and families in South Jersey who utilize Samaritan’s primary care, palliative medicine, hospice care, grief support and other programs.
