Bicycle officers engaged with students from Berlin Community School on Oct. 9 to emphasize bike, pedestrian and roadway safety. The session included lessons on safety equipment and road laws and an obstacle course to test riding skills. Police also distributed bicycle safety lights to the students; parents can obtain them by calling the department.
