Why are you running for an elected seat?

I am running for an elected seat on the board of education to be a voice for our community, ensuring that our children are receiving the opportunities they deserve and are being prepared for the next level to be successful in whatever it is they choose. As a parent of two children in the school system, I want to be sure that my children and their classmates are the priority of our school district!

What is one area you would like to concentrate on if elected?

I would like to continue to focus on upgrading our district, where our students have a voice in what is essential, including facilities, academic experiences as well as extracurricular opportunities. Obtaining valued input from our students is crucial in developing a climate and environment where they feel safe and welcomed.
