Join the Millville Historical Society on a vintage-style trolley ride to local historical sites. The 90-minute narrated tours run on Saturday, October 24, beginning and ending at the Millville Historical Society’s Genealogical & Research Library, located at 200 E. Main Street in Millville. Tour times are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Forty historic sites will be highlighted, with a focus on the Township of Millville (1802-1866). While journeying through the past, participants will be able to compare vintage photographs with the site as it appears today. Refreshments will be served in Millville’s First Bank (1857), which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The tour is expected to sell out quickly; seats are limited. Tickets are $40 and must be paid in advance. Checks should be made payable to the Millville Historical Society and mailed to 200 East Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. Please indicate the requested tour time (11 a.m. or 1 p.m.) and include a contact telephone number or email address so the Society can confirm your request. Tickets may also be purchased during regular hours on Wednesday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Genealogical & Research Library.

The proceeds from ticket sales will be used to repair the roof of the circa 1814 Wood Mansion Ice House a “contributing building and structure” that was part of the Mansion’s placement on the National Register of Historic Places. We hope you will join us and hop aboard!
