A jury has convicted a Winslow Township man for sexually abusing a child over the course of several years, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.
Bryan Sisco-Downs, 39, was found guilty on September 3, 2026, of two counts of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, three counts of second-degree Sexual Assault, and two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The verdict was returned after a two-week jury trial in Camden County Superior Court.
On October 16, 2023, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Winslow Township Police Department began an investigation into Sisco-Downs after a 12-year-old girl reported the abuse. Detectives determined that Sisco-Downs sexually abused the victim on various dates between December 2019 and October 2023 when the child was between the ages of 9 and 12. Sisco-Downs was charged on October 16, 2023, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
During the trial, the victim took the stand and testified about the abuse she suffered throughout her childhood. Pursuant to the Jessica Lunsford Act, the defendant faces a sentence of at least 25 years in New Jersey State Prison without the possibility of parole up to life imprisonment on each of the first-degree counts. Sentencing is scheduled for January 13, 2027.
