Dolores R. Raube (née Cleary), 88, of Gloucester City passed away peacefully at her home on August 31, 2026. Born in Camden, NJ, on July 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late George Francis Cleary and Mazie E. (née Tucker) Cleary.
Dolores was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School (Class of 1956) and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree. A dedicated member of her community, she worked for many years as a teacher’s aide at Gloucester City High School prior to her retirement.
Alongside her late husband, Joe, she was a former owner of Gloucester Travel from the late 1990s to 2004 and loved traveling the world with him throughout their 65 years of marriage.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph D. Raube Sr., and her brother, George Cleary (surviving Shirley).
Dolores is survived by her loving sons: Joseph D. Raube Jr. (Mary Jo), David Raube (Margo), and Michael Raube; her brother, William Cleary (Connie); her seven cherished grandchildren whom she deeply adored, Gregory, Patrick, Madeline, Olivia, Charlotte, Regina and Dylan; and many loving extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends attended her visitation at St. Mary’s Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where her Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated. Interment was at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
