Camden County roadwork projects, June 15-20

Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of June 15 to June 20. 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

Audubon

Crews will be working on East Atlantic Avenue from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between East Merchant Street in Audubon and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights.

Berlin Borough

Crews will be working on North Park Drive on Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Watsontown Road & Orchard Drive.  

Camden

  • PSE&G will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, June 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure, and a westbound lane shift between Kaighn Avenue and Liberty Street.
  • PSE&G will be working on Kaighn Avenue on Monday, June 15 to Thursday, June 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between South 7th Street and South 3rd Street.
  • Crews will be working on Newton Avenue from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There be full road closure between Chestnut Street and the Kaighn Avenue/South 4th Street intersection. 
  • Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a lane shift between Federal Street & Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. 
  • Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. There will be a partial northbound road closure between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Cooper Plaza.
  • Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. There will be full road closures at the intersection with Mt. Vernon Street and Chestnut Street, as well as a full road closure between Pine Street and Walnut Street. 

Cherry Hill

Crews will be working on Kresson Road on Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Evesham Road and Cropwell Road. 

Crews will be working on Kenilworth Avenue on Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday, there will be a full road closure between Edward Avenue and Route 38. On Wednesday until Friday, there will be a full road closure between Chapel Avenue and Route 38.  

Crews will be working on Cooper Landing Road on Wednesday, June 17 to Saturday, June 20, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. There will be a full road closure between Valley Run & Route 70.  

Gibbsboro

Crews will be working on United States Avenue and Foster Avenue on Monday, June 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Kirkwood-Gibbsboro Road and Norcross Road. There will be a full road closure of United States Avenue between Lakeview Drive South and Berlin Road, and a full road closure of Foster Avenue between United States Avenue and Clementon Road.

Gloucester Township

Crews will be working on Evesham Road on Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure between Schubert Avenue and Black Horse Pike.

Haddon Heights

Crews will be working on East Atlantic Avenue on Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure between East Merchant Street in Audubon and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights.

PSE&G will be working on Prospect Ridge Boulevard & South Park Avenue, on Wednesday, June 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure of South Park Avenue between Prospect Ridge Boulevard and North Park Avenue. 

Haddonfield

PSE&G will be working on South Hinchman Avenue on Monday, June 15, to Wednesday, June 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Queensboro Lane and Chews Landing Road.

Oaklyn

PSE&G will be working on Manor Avenue on Tuesday, June 16, to Thursday, June 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be there will be a full road closure between West Oakland Avenue & Congress Avenue. 

Pennsauken

Crews will be working on Browning Road on Thursday, June 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure at the intersection with High Street. 

Pine Hill

Crews will be working on West Branch Avenue from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure between Blackwood-Clementon Road and Erial Road.

Winslow Township

Crews will be working on Erial Road from Monday, June 8, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Williamstown-New Freedom Road & Andrews Road.

Crews will be working on Mays Landing Road on Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Old Albertson Road and the Atlantic County Line.

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
