Pets on parade

Pre-school students at Whitehall Elementary School in Monroe enjoyed a pet parade on May 22 as part of their study of animals that live with people. One family brought several pets and the students also met Popcorn the pony, Sprinkles the turkey, Banana the chicken and Marshmallow the goat. The event also included a parade of favorite stuffed animals.
