Winslow Township is continually exploring new ways to connect with our residents. You can now watch the recorded township meetings by visiting the township website, or on the township mobile app, My Winslow.
Due to the upcoming holiday, the trash and recycling collection schedule will be one day behind the week of May 25. We hope that those who are able will join us for the annual Memorial Day service as we honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. The event will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the municipal complex, 125 South Route 73.
Please also join us at the upcoming Green Fair on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., also at the municipal complex. Shredder trucks will be available for residents – no businesses please – and plant giveaways, as well as informational vendors and more.
On May 5,, I had the honor of completing five honorary renaming ceremonies throughout the township. Two of our parks and a pavilion were dedicated within west Atco, and two streets were honorarily named for residents who made an impact within our communities.
One of the honorary events took place on Heidi Place in Sicklerville, and I want to thank the family members and guests who came out to remember these special members of our community.
